ATBH Conference in 2020のお知らせ
The World Coordinating Committee ATBH warmly welcomes expressions of interest from universities and health service organisations in hosting the tenth ATBH conference to be held in 2020. First held in London in 1997, ATBH conferences have met in Vancouver, London, Stockholm, Sydney, Kobe, Pittsburgh, and Oxford with Auckland to follow in 2018.
The conferences bring together up to 900 delegates from around the world to promote interprofessional education towards improving global health through closer collaboration. Delegates include health and social care professionals and educators, policy makers, students and service users and carers.
Interested organisations should be an institution active in the domain of health and/or social care, or of higher education in this domain, or a regional network in IPE/CP, or a consortium of institutions be willing to work closely with a regional network represented on the World Coordinating Committee. The need to be prepared to carry full financial liability for the conference, and organize the conference according to the general guidelines and the general program schedule, over 3 days in the period to define between May and October 2020 and to be agreed with the WCC-ATBH. They need to provide an easily accessible venue for international participation with evidence of available accommodation for a minimum of 500 delegates over 3 days in the conference venue. Preferably they have a track record in interprofessional education and collaborative practice nationally and internationally.
Candidates provide written support from senior managers of the organisation/s involved in the bid, and provide evidence of available accommodation for lodging of conference participants in the area around the conference venue. Expressions of interest should indicate that these criteria are met. Candidates can contact WCC members and administrators for additional information.
