Professor Lee was invited to speak at the 38th International Academic Conference of the Korea Aging Friendly Industry Association, held at Tongmyong University in Busan, Republic of Korea. The conference theme was “Age-Tech-Based Care Innovation in a Super-Aged Society: Age-Friendly Industries Driven by AI and Digital Transformation.”
Professor Lee delivered a lecture entitled “The Role of Interprofessional Education in Health Literacy Technologies.” The presentation highlighted the importance of interprofessional education (IPE), its contribution to improving health literacy, and its role in preparing healthcare professionals for collaborative practice in an increasingly technology-driven healthcare environment.
Through active discussions with participants from academia and clinical practice, the value of IPE and its future directions were shared.
