Summary in brief
The DLSMHSI organized the continuing professional development seminar to delve into the dynamic realm of healthcare and explore the impact of Interprofessional Education and Interprofessional Collaborative Practice in the field of medical imaging and therapy (Picture 1). Approximately 450 participants attended the seminar and learned/discussed how to bridge the gaps in healthcare through the power of interdisciplinary teamwork.
Two WHO Collaborating Centre (JPN-89) members, Prof. SHINOZAKI and Prof. LEE, attend the seminar as invited speakers, and had presentations entitled “Global Perspectives on Interprofessional Education and Collaboration: Trends and Issues” and “Framework for Action on Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice” respectively (Picture 2).
