De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute Delegation Visits Gunma University WHOCC and Signs LOI
On 15 June 2026, a delegation of eight members from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI), Philippines, including the President, visited Gunma University.
A Letter of Intent (LOI) signing ceremony was held to further strengthen future educational and research collaboration between the two institutions. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Graduate School of Health Sciences and faculty members involved in the WHO Collaborating Centre. Discussions focused on student and faculty exchange, collaborative research, and the promotion of international interprofessional education (IPE).
The delegation also visited Gunma University Hospital and the School of Health Sciences, gaining further insight into potential areas for future collaboration.
The signing of the LOI marked an important step in further developing the long-standing partnership between the two institutions and in promoting interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) in the Asian region.
